COMPANY OVERVIEW
In 1992, Mr. Cheng Tong Kwai founded Meetat Tractor Work, beginnings as a one-machine company involved in tractor works. In the following year, Meecon Crane Services was established with humble beginnings from a 16 Ton Mobile Crane, the company provides crane rental services for clients within Klang Valley.
Dato’ Sri Cheng Su Yee (Mike) and Mr. Cheng Su Hong joined the company in 1996 and founded Meecon Engineering & Trading Sdn. Bhd. and expanded our services to heavy lifting and aerial platforms to clients across Malaysia. Besides providing crane, skylift & transportation rental services, we participated in numerous heavy-lifting projects.
Meecon has successfully completed several mega projects including West Cost Expressway (WCE), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) & Light Rail Transit (LRT). In 2020, Meecon launched the 1st U-trough Girder for LRT3 Project (the first rail project in Malaysia to be using U-trough technology).
Over the past 30 years, Meecon had gained great experience and an excellent reputation on technically challenging heavy-lifting projects and is widely considered as one of the country’s top launchers. Our large machinery fleet and highly competent forces are always ready to provide the finest solution to our clients.
